THE INSTRUCTOR
After 12 years of working in the television news industry, Britney Glaser took the leap into education - a field where she can share her passion for storytelling through words and videos with young people.
Glaser has seen first-hand the life-changing difference you can make in a person's life when you share a compelling story. Her hope is that she can light a spark in her students to see the creative ways they can become difference-makers with digital media.
Glaser has worked as a morning news anchor, multimedia journalist, executive producer, and radio broadcast instructor for stations in Louisiana, Texas and Pennsylvania.
When she is not at school, Glaser is likely soaking in precious time with her family.
She is married to Matt Felder and the couple has three children: Lila Rose (6), James (5), and Adeline (4).
Glaser is a proud graduate of Louisiana State University, where she graduated with honors in Mass Communications.
Southwest Louisiana is her home.
She grew up in the small Beauregard Parish town of Dry Creek and graduated as valedictorian from East Beauregard High School, where she dreamed of being a student in a television program like this.
Glaser says it is a privilege to be able to offer students this fantastic opportunity to learn the skills of television and film production while in high school - and possibly open students' eyes to a future in television or film.

a letter from the instructor
It is truly a privilege to spend my time with you - sharing one of my life's greatest passions: the power of television and film to transform a person's life. It did that for me and it's such a joyful moment when I get to witness the sparkle in a student's eye when it happens for them! Powerful stories change lives and we are working together to craft those storytelling skills with words and video each day.
My classroom was designed with you in mind - to make you excited to walk in the doors and to find your "thing" - that intangible something that makes you light up. Maybe it's in front of the camera, maybe it's behind the camera or maybe this class is simply a launchpad to a future with more confidence, poise and tools in your toolbox.
We will learn together, we will create together, we will laugh together and as I learned on the last week of school, we will cry together as our class ends. But know this: I will be here for you after the studio lights are turned off for the last time and support you on your journey after your TVP days are over.
